1. What Backpackr is
Backpackr is a travel platform that lets you search flights, book hostels, plan trips, track budgets, and talk to other travelers. We're a UK-registered company (Backpackr Ltd, Company No. 15832910).
2. Your account
You must be 18+ (or 16+ with guardian consent). One person, one account. Keep your password to yourself. If someone gets in and books flights on your card because you shared your password, that's on you — email us anyway, we'll do our best.
3. Bookings
When you book a flight or hostel through Backpackr, your contract is with the airline or hostel — we're the intermediary. We're liable only for what we control (site availability, booking accuracy). Cancellation terms of the underlying provider apply.
4. Community rules
Be a decent person. No hate speech, harassment, doxxing, illegal activity coordination, or spam. We remove content that breaks these rules and can suspend accounts. Impersonating another traveler is an instant ban.
5. Money-back guarantee
If we double-charge you or a hostel doesn't honor a confirmed booking, we refund in full within 5 business days. No forms. Just email us.
6. Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we'll email you 30 days before anything material changes.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If there's a dispute we can't resolve, courts of London have jurisdiction.
